  Matrimelee Guide - Jimmy

Real Name: James Lewis (Lee)
Age: 24
Nationality: American
Fighting Style: Ryu Zui Ken and Street fighting


Jimmy and his younger brother Billy lived on the streets until they were taken in by an uncle who was a policeman. There they were introduced to the old master Song Lee and placed under his guidance on learning the ways of the Ryu Zui Ken fighting style.

After a gang killed his girlfriend, he blamed himself for not being able to protect her. After that he once again returned to the streets as a streetfighter in prize-money competitions. There, Jimmy got injured by an unknown fighter leaving a nasty scar on his face.

It seems Jimmy has entered the Matrimelee tournament to gain the Gouketsuji clan title.

Special Moves:

Red Rage - QCF + A/C
Sho Ryu Dan - FDP + A/C (triple hit with C)
Cannon Kick - QCB + B/D
Triple Hit Punch Combo: HCB + A
Heat Hurricane: HCB + C - Follow this up with one of the moves below:

Flaming Punch: QCF + C
Overhead Elbow: QCB + C
Uppercut Finish: Toward, Down, Down-Toward + C

*Level 1 Gun Blow - Towards, HCF + A
2 hit flaming punch/uppercut

**Level 2 Gun Blow - Towards, HCF + C
Same as above, but finishes with a massive pillar of fire, very damaging.


Jimmy 6 Hit Hyper Level 2 Combo - By Seiryu:

Jimmy Lee's hyper moves are some of the easiest to use in a combo. This combo can only be done in corner as you must keep the opponent very close to you for that 3rd hit to connect. You can do this move out in the open but you cannot use the second regular follow up punch after the toss-up slam, the opponent is thrown back too far for it to hit. Like I said, his hyper is very linkable after everything so it will also hit in the open after the toss-up.

Start off with a very, very deep hitting flying kick. Follow it up immediately with the crouching C + D move (the toss-up slam). After that press forward + A, but… not make the QCF motion or else you'll shoot out his red rage fireball (QCF + A or C).

You already pressed forward with the last punch so continue doing the HCB motion then press forward + C after that to start up the Gun blow hyper. Great looking and massive damaging 6 hit juggle.

HCB>Towards + C is the motion for his Gun blow level 2 hyper, press A for his level one version. This in case you want to do the combo but have only one stress level stocked.

Note by Kaz: If you have no power stock, you could always do a Dragon Punch (Toward, Down, Down-Toward + C) instead of the super at the end of this combo.

Jimmy 7 Hit Hyper Level 2 Combo - By Seiryu:

For this combo of Jimmy to connect, you have got to get the jumping distance right. The trick is to neck-jump your opponent, which means jumping over him/her but being able to hit the back of his/her neck. This technique can be used for many characters that need to be really close to the opponent for a combo link.

Neck-jump your opponent and hit with a heavy flying kick (D button).Follow up with a crouching weak kick (B button) and immediately follow up with a double hitting standing heavy punch (C button x 2 for two hits).

Immediately follow up with the Gun Blow hyper special (HCB>Towards + C button, or A button for the level 1 version). This should give you a cool looking 7 hit chain link combo, but remember to not pause between the link up of buttons... speed is the key to make it connect one after another.
