NG Dev Team have just announced their next Neo Geo release: a horizontal shoot 'em up called Razion which seems to be inspired by games like R-Type and Pulstar. Razion features six stages, novice and normal gameplay modes and the scoring system involves 'growing gold cubes' and using the beam.
The MVS version is due to be released in Autumn 2014 with an AES release to follow later. Pre-ordering for the MVS version has already opened.
Always exciting to hear about a new game being released for the Neo Geo!
After a break once again it's time for Game of the Week. This week we'll be taking a closer look at Samurai Shodown! for SNK's handheld system the Neo Geo Pocket. How well do you feel SNK's hugely popular 'katana battle action game' series translates to the handheld system?
Please check out this week's discussion thread, vote in the poll and share your thoughts about the game. If you don't own a Neo Geo Pocket why not give the game a try through emulation.
Don't read any further if you don't know the likes of Roger Feder, Andy Murray or Serena Williams. What? No idea who these jerks are? Hm, then read on anyway. This week we're looking at SNK's / Yumekobo's only Tennis game in their entire video game library.
So is it any comparable to other popular tennis series like Mario Tennis or even Sega's Virtua Tennis? And I've got no idea if the game even has a Scoring system, but if you guys insist, we easily could organize a High Score Challenge.

Marvin's Maze - Game of the Week
Now what the hell is this game anyway? Has this even something to do with SNK's history? It's no wonder that Marvin's Maze isn't really that established in SNK's arcade library, nevertheless many players at that time considered it as a Pacman clone with a few additional features.
A shameless Pacman clone or an innovative remake by SNK with deeper gameplay? I'll let you be the judge. Discuss this and more in the according GOTW thread and maybe... ask for a High Score Challenge?
