I'm a little behind on posting certain SNK related news, however I thought I'd do a quick round up for anyone that missed any of this:


KOF XIII Release Date Slips to November 22nd




The release of KOF XIII has apparently slipped to Tuesday November the 22nd, as opposed to October the 25th. This is disappointing for those of us desperate to get our hands on the console release, however Atlas have stated that the extra time is being used to polish the game. Whether you believe this or not is a different story, but if it does mean that any niggling bugs etc are wiped out before the release, without having to wait weeks or months for a fix patch, this is a positive thing. I've seen too many SNK releases plagued with bugs in the past so it would be hugely disappointing if that was the case with KOF XIII!


Rising Star Games has confirmed that the PAL release of the game will arrive on Friday the 25th of November, and pre-orders will receive the 4-CD official soundtrack as the US version. It will also include an A3 poster (art on one side, move list on the reverse), and a reversible sleeve. That's good news for us all - I'll keep an eye out for the cheapest place to pre-order as I still haven't ordered mine yet.

Trouble Witches Neo now 400MSP on Xbox Live Arcade!




Trouble Witches Neo has now been reduced in price to only 400 MSP (originally 800). I'm not sure how long it is at this price for, but it's a bargain for a pretty good game. You can download it by logging in at Xbox.com and heading here, alternatively you can head to the Marketplace directly from your console of course. Try the demo if you are not sure about it; it's had relatively good reviews and from the little I have played so far it's a solid shoot 'em up if you don't mind the cuteness. Recommended!

Site Stuff

I'm trying to get the cogs turning with regards to posting SNK related news once more, and I am active around the forums again now (it's been far too long!), but I'm also fine tuning a few things on the site. I'm currently thinking of making additions/alterations to the forums, amongst other things, at the request of our members. We've added a sports discussion section to the forum already, although it's quiet there right now... I know a lot of you are interested in one sport or another though so we'd love to see you there if you want to talk about something other than gaming! You can find the NGFL Sports Bar here! I'm going to add to/change the forums a little in other ways too to hopefully freshen things up, so stay tuned!
