Because SNK are useless at releasing games in the west unfortunately. Ignition are handling all the Euro releases, and the main compliments I can give them is that they have a nice flashy website and that I appreciate the fact that they are taking the risk of releasing this stuff over here. I'd appreciate it a lot more if they got stuff out a lot quicker though, I can't see any reason why it should take so damn long!
If you can, pick up Neo Geo Battle Coliseum in the meantime... I have seen it going for £12.99, so it is well worth that price!!!

NGBC load times were horrible in the Japanese version, but they did improve it for the UK release thankfully. However, KOF XI has lightning fast load times, they couldn't really be any better to be honest, so no worries there!
Klarkus: cool, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, especially at that price. KOF XI is a lot better, but NGBC should tide you over for a while.

I'd say it is very good and MUCH better than a lot of the newer releases. It's not as good as the very best KOF games like KOF 98, and I think KOF XI is better, but it is a more enjoyable game than KOF 2001/2002/2003 in my opinion. It's hard to compare them though as they are very different styles of games. NGBC is great if you want to play a game with older characters that we haven't seen in a while (like the World Heroes characters etc), and if you want to be able to play as characters that are not likely to appear in KOF (like Marco from Metal Slug). If that appeals to you then definitely give it a try, and for the price it is selling for you have little to lose!

I hope you guys get a chance to pick XI up soon. It really injects a shot of true hope into the continued snk legacy. I'm lucky enough to have a Japanese ps2 and copy, otherwise I'd never have the chance to lay hands on it in the states. |

CvS2 would have been great if Capcom give us a decent PAL conversion. Still a good game though |

It's pretty loaded with spyware though. (At least that's what my Ad-Aware says)
Hopefully we'll get the KOFXI Europe release soon, so I can snatch some posters (promo) like I did with KOF Neo Wave and Samurai Showdown 5, heh

Boooo! I've just seen that too. (and edited the calendar accordingly). I can't say that I'm surprised though, particulalry since KOF XI's PAL launch date was the same as the PS3's.
At least this delay gives my wallet a bit of a breather. However, two months is a pretty big delay. At least it's still got a release date though. |

Oh yeah, KOFXI was delayed in the EU again, this time it's set for June 8th but it seems this might finally be the real date because Ignitionent acknowledged it on their homepage (something they rarely do until the game is practically in the store.)

Good Lord... NGBC PAL had problems, and now this. If that is in the final version that hits the stores then I am very disappointed in Ignition.
Saying that, is this from a final release copy? The game isn't supposed to be out until July according to Play.com and Amazon. I did see warez of the PAL version floating about the Interweb, so there is a chance that the copy these people have is a beta. That might explain the bugs, but saying that, there were glitches in NGBC, and the US version of Card Fighters was screwed up, so this will just be yet another messed up release that shouldn't have happened, especially with all the time they have taken on releasing it! :|

I'm not sure if it's the final version or not but considering the uproar over at neo-geo, I assume it is. |
