Someone mentioned it in a thread earlier, so I played my version last night. Now, I know it is supposedly not as goos as the second one (which I haven't got), but you know what, it whiled away a happy hour or so yesterday. It's not often I laugh when I play a game, but the speech and graphics on this are really funny. I sometimes find this, you go back to some "crap" old game you haven't played in a while, and after a couple of goes you think to yourself "I actually "enjoyed" that experience" rather than just "playing" it. Anyone else had a similar experience?

I agree with you on both counts. One, Baseball Stars is one fine game in its own right and two, when you replay old favorites you either love them all over again or start to hate them.
There's plenty of old favorites that manage to bring that smile to my face, despite their age. Hmm, maybe its an Altered Beast day.

Its a game that you dont play very often. But I do like It and would'nt sell my copy. The other baseball games on the neo are better but this Is the oldest title of the 3. |

Powerwave - Konami's Crypt Killer is still in an arcade in Southsea. I had it on the Saturn and it was the most pixellated game I have ever known. House of the Dead with mummies best describes it! In Japan it has the stupid name of "Henry's Explorers".

I still play the origional MVS version on occasion and enjoy it everytime I play
I hate the forfeit rule since it ends the game early if you suck [ down bye 7 runs I think ? ] but its still a fun game.
I dont really think that BBS2 plays any better mechanically and in all honesty even though its a graphically superior game it just doesnt feel anybetter than BBS1 and it seems too busy visually.
I spent most of the eighties, most of my life, riding around in somebody else's car, in possession of, or ingested of, something illegal, on my way from something illegal to something illegal with many illegal things happening all around me.
