Just bought Heroes of Might and Magic II Gold (PC) for $9.99 from GOG. This was actually the first ever PC game I bought many years ago but I felt the urge to play it again and couldn't find my original copy. A brilliant game that I've spent countless hours playing in the past.
It's nice that GOG give you the option of downloading a patch so you can use the original Succession Wars music. The music by Paul Anthony Romero is wonderful. I love the 'opera' themes especially for the knight and sorceress towns.

I purchased the 3-disk FM Towns version of the very first Asuka 120% BURNING Fest., just so I can preserve it for future generations. It is freakin' freakin' rare. |

Picked up a few premium games today... I can't believe I just spent that much on 3 games for the TG16.

Daraku: I share your interest in the Turbografx and PC Engine. For the TG I only have 3 games but for the PCE I have 17 games or so.

Very cool... what's your favorite on the NEC console? I think mine is probably either Neutopia or Dragon's Curse.

I´ve never had a chance to play Dragons curse / Wonderboy on the TurboGrafx, but it looks nice...Neutopia is an RPG, right?
I´m quite fond of the R-TYPE port for this system, the version that´s closest to the arcade game.
Some other PCE favorites (all which I own):
Gradius
Gradius II
Salamander
Castlevania
1943 Kai
Street Fighter II
...But...Damn! The cover-art of the TurboGrafx boxes are pretty awful

The PC Engine is a fantastic console. Congrats on the new games.
My favorites (of the ones I own) are: Dracula X, Winds of Thunder, Chou Aninki and Dead of the Brain 1&2.

Yeah Dracula X is a great game and I've never actually played it on the TG16 even though I've played it on the PSP. I plan on getting it, but hoping to find it for a good price, it's got to be one of the most spectacular games on the system.\
And Neutopia is a Zelda clone.

Picked this one up today:

So much better than the Sega Saturn port. The fan does need to be changed soon, as it doesn't sound really healthy.
Next on my Fighting Game most wanted list is Dragoon Might...will be bought after summer holidays.

Not much to look at except for the metal casing...everything's inside. It has a Compact Flash card installed with 13 games, processor has been replaced with a faster one and the RAM has been increased.

Not much collecting going on at the moment. I'm probably mostly buying modern games from now until the end of the year since there's a lot coming out soon that I'm excited about. Recent purchases:
The Last of Us Remastered (PS4)
Azure Striker Gunvolt (3DS)
Infamous: First Light (PS4)
Amazing Princess Sarah (360)
So yeah, slowing down a bit to prepare for the end of the year rush.

Got this today...

It wasn't working when I picked it up, but it's progressing. I've now got the game working minus video. I need to pick up some more fuses and here is to hoping that's all it will need.
You cant tell but the control panel is all bent out of shape... nothing that a mallet can't solve.

Impressive purchase Daraku! I played on one of those on the Isle of Wight (UK) about 10 years ago. Was amazing to still find one in the wild.

After fixing a few things to get it working I have come to find out the monitor is dead. I know nothing about monitors so I'll have to have it checked out.
