Favorite NEO Beat 'em up?
CO9207
If you were stuck on a deserted Island and you could only pick one Beat em up to take with you, what would it be?

(BTW, No answering Sengoku 3 is allowed, it would make it too easy to answer this post)

Here are some examples of beat 'em ups (Or to some as side scrolling fighters)

Burning Fight,
Mutation Nation,
Robo Army
Sengoku 1 & 2,
Ninja Combat

I would take Burning Fight, It reminds me of Final Fight for some reason

Mutation Nation
Robo Army
Sengoku 2

In that order.

Robo Army for me, pretty generic but always fun
Ninja Commandos [ though its more of a shooter ]
I spent most of the eighties, most of my life, riding around in somebody else's car, in possession of, or ingested of, something illegal, on my way from something illegal to something illegal with many illegal things happening all around me.

Hmmm, I like most of them actually though none of them reached the lofty standards set by Konami and Capcom or even Sega...

If I had to pick I'd say Sengoku 2 or Mutation Nation probably.

Or Eight Man. Pfft

cthulhu
I think I would go for Robo Army.

Probably Burning Fight or Sengoku.

Sengoku was actually the game that got me into the Neo back in the early 90's. The eerie atmosphere filled with wrecked cities, feudal-Japan inspired spirit realms, and demon samurai made this game amazing to me. Also, I was a sucker for the wild Sphero Symphony sound and music. It just had so much force to it, it felt like it rocked that 2-slot to pieces.

Too bad the AES version is too damn difficult and I don't have a unibios.

Burning Fight is great to me solely for the fact that I am an absolute whore for urban brawlers. Though if Streets of Rage II is the Heavens, Burning Fight would probably be the bottom of the Atlantic. However, I love it just the same.

It's got freaking Hulk Hogan! What more do you need than pounding the Hulkster in the middle of a shopping mall?
