Arcade games collection

Thanks Beret. It's a fun game with great music Wink None of the home conversions used the isometric view so it has something unique. You can have three players but have to hook up the third one seperately I think.

I'd have no chance replacing the battery myself without butchering the board. I've heard Caius does good work but I usually send my stuff to a guy here in the UK. Postage to Italy would really add a lot to the cost. Our postal sevice is just a rip-off. Buying boards in from Europe though is no problem.

It says on the title screen the game was designed by Michael Jackson himself but I found this comment on a YTube video about the game. Might not be true but funny if it was.

My brother actually played the Moonwalker arcade cabinet in Michael's personal arcade in Neverland Ranch many years ago. He was invited there to hang out for a day along with the other kids in his school. The funny part is he told me he didn't even really know how to play the game, he kept going in the wrong direction.

What a strange comment! The funny thing of Michael's story and I have read it a lot is that he was saving kids in the video game just to have them for later Grin
I don't believe he was a boy lover though but this is funny anyway! I love his songs and when I was a kid I was his fan for sure.

If you can send the board in UK it's super! Who is he, Vectorglow? Have you sent it yet?

haha yes it was asking for it a bit to have him rescue kids in his videogame. I'm definitely on the innocent until proven guilty side of the argument. A musical legend for sure.

I haven't sent Moonwalker yet. I was going to send my CPS2 games first but I just found out they can be fixed if the battery runs out now (without phoenixing them). That's a great development. I only hope someone figures out how to do it for Sega System 16 and 18 games soon. There is no way to replace the battery on those without cutting the chips open, which is a shame.

The guy I send them to is on Jamma Plus called IronGiant but he might be called Vectorglow on other forums. http://www.jammap...cps2-fixes He is based in Wales. He fixed my Prehistoric Isle and Ghouls n Ghosts for me.

Wanted to share something I found out recently about Capcom CPS1 games : if you run them on a CPS Dash A Board (which has a faster CPU) then you reduce or remove any slowdown. They are still synced to the display so they don't run too fast - just smoother. Joe
