2,400 DOS games added to The Internet Archive
I'm not sure how this is legal, but I can only assume it is since major videogame news sites are reporting it.

The Internet Archive just uploaded nearly 2,400 old MS-DOS games that are all playable in your browser. Just from scrolling through part of it a few highlights I noticed were Catacombs 3D, Turrican 2, Bust A Move, Dragon's Lair, Street Fighter II, and Metal Gear. Of course, remember that these are the DOS versions so it's not going to quite be the Dragon's Lair you remember...

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to waste far too much of my time playing Total Carnage.
I imagine a lot of these games will have been available on sites like Abandonia for quite some time but it is nice being able to play them via a browser on the internet archive site.

Was interesting to try the DOS version of Golden Axe which I had never played before. A pretty good version I'd say despite the sound not being very good. Also played the classic King's Bounty, forerunner of the HOMM series, which I used to own for Mega Drive. Highly recommend people to try the MD version if they haven't already.

The sound doesn't work for me either, very choppy and well... fucked-up.

Played a wee bit of Prince of Persia.

shot in the eye
shot in the brain
shot in the ass...
Played Larry1 in work. I also got lot further than when i was like 10 Grin
I played on 2 different computers and worked great. I had and played a lot of DOS games on my childhood so this is great for me.
