The best game store I have ever seen.
My friend and I took a trip to Chicago this weekend for his birthday and we found a game store that just blew my mind. It's called People Play Games...
Every system ever. Yes, there's a boxed Neo Geo in there. Also a Jaguar and a couple of different versions of the TurboGraphx-16.
The have CIB games for TG-16 and 3DO! Not systems I own, but to have this big of a selection for systems that obscure is very impressive.
CIB NES and SNES games. I couldn't believe there were so many CIB NES games! Most of which were in great condition.
The Genesis wall. It extends far beyond the picture, and yes the left of this pic shows the edge of the Master System selection. I want them all.
Some of the higher dollar stuff. Not pictured is a selection of about 30 Neo Geo games. There's also CIB copies of Chrono Trigger, Dragon Warrior II and III, Final Fantasy, and sealed copies of the Sega Ages Monster World and Fantasy Zone collections. Had they not been sealed (which obviously drives up the price) I would have bought them both.

Not pictured is a huge Factory Sealed selection of games dating back all the way to the Atari 2600 and hitting just about every system in between. I never thought I'd see any sealed 2600 games, and there were at least 30 of them! There was also a substantial imports section with a good selection for PS1, PS2, and Dreamcast but covering several other systems as well (a few of the aforementioned Neo Geo games were imports too). There were literally games for every system I could think of. NeoGeo Pocket Color,, Fairchild Channel F... it didn't matter how obscure. There were also a lot more boxed systems than even what the picture above shows.

If you're ever in Chicago you need to go there. It is game collector Heaven.

I'm seriously considering moving to Chicago now...
Man they are loaded! Next time I get to Chicago I'm going to have to check that out.
Looks awesome Mojo Thumbs Up the trouble with retro gamestores - even the ones in Japan - is the prices they charge for this stuff. But would be awesome to visit though - like a museum. Nice to just view all of the consoles and games. Not sure if i have ever seen Neo Geo games in a shop - i missed out on all that:(

Actually a retro gaming store that I went to in San Antonio literally had a video game museum built onto it. It had tons of consoles that were boxed ranging across the past decades.
