Bought a new NEO GEO game? - tell us about it here
TF73
Personally I really enjoy MS5, but a matter of taste as with everything else I guess.

Bought Viewpoint for AES. Been wanting that from the first time I saw it in CVG.
Feeling old when I start to think back like that.......

Bought Metal Slug 4 for the MVS last saturday.
Complete full kit (without poster though), condition like new.
I'm satisfied with it.

Do you like Viewpoint? If you have to wait long to play a game, maybe you get too high expectations of it.

Such true words.

Viewpoint is one of those games that play perfectly fine on the NGCD. I always liked playing the first two stages ... couldn't beat that damn grab, of course, but when the Uni Bios was released, I was really disappointed when I finally got to see the rest of the game. Stages looked boring and uninspired and the music wasn't that great either.

Thanks!

I've been contemplating what to do about the KoF series for a while now.... I was quite intent on getting all ten on AES for quite a while, but then I decided that really would be just for the collection... most would just be dust catchers. Looks nice on the shelf though.

So instead I decided to go for the best version of '98 there is. There are some tweaks over the Type X release and no loading times as the game's on cart, instead of a HDD. The hardware is lovely and compact too.

I really enjoyed the game and was anything but disappointed. It's a quite difficult game but there is nothing wrong with a challenge! Smile

Also just purchased Fatal Fury 3, so now I'm only missing Real Bout Fatal Fury in the series.

Viewpoint is an excellent game. The challenge is part of what makes it so great. I will definetly get that one to my aes collection, just have to find one.

Ohh and by the way, my first encounter with the game was also a review..... way back in a swedish magazine, just cant remember which one, they were the only one with Neo geo reviews.

Man it has been a while since I posted on these boards.

I recently got my hands on the Japanese versions of the 2 Fatal Fury collections and World Heroes collection. I decided to finally get them as I was pissed off at how the USA versions where treated. Now I can play Fatal Fury 3 with everything in it. Also got the PS2 version of SVC Chaos as well.

Now they only things I want to get for PS2 are the KOF Orochi Hen, Ryuuko no Ken Ten Chi Jin (Japanese version of AOF Anthology) and ADK Tamashii.

I love Viewpoint too. Surely must get a nod for one of the best isometric games ever too? At the time, that game more than any other actually made me realise that the future of games was probably 3D because I could imagine in the future consoles being able to render those graphics in real time, and teh gameplay actually working. I always looked forward to an isometric brawler in a simliar graphical style too.

This is where I saw it, in 1st ever Edge magazine in 1993, at the time those graphics were jaw dropping. http://www.neogeo...point1.jpg

Jealous of your ROTD dragon kit Sensi!

Incidentally there's an Edge ROTD dragon review here http://www.neogeo...9_rotd.jpg I scanned it in so you can blame me for it being wonky.

Good purchases, Henke! I just second Riko that Viewpoint is absolutely superb, regardless of its immense difficulty!

I remember the epic High Score Challenge we had three years ago, you still can submit your own scores if you want so. But believe me, the stage 3 boss is totally unforgivable. Wink

I will definitely try my best to get a highscore!
Oh, I'm so excited to play this, but I'll move to another apartment in three weeks, and the AES is already packed down. :(

Some nice additions to your collection Henke especially Viewpoint. The JPN Fatal Fury insert looks so much better than the US version.

I've sold some games to Priest in the past and can definitely recommend doing business with him. You can expect a smooth transaction.

Would be great if the Viewpoint challenge was revived. I would actually be pleased if someone beat my score. I'm not very good at the game.
