I've never seen this until now

I was so excited to see this MVS-2 Mini when I went to a hole-in-the-wall burger joint. I talked to the manager and asked if they owned it, and she told me they borrowed it from some guy in town (so not a business). She is going to pass my phone number to him so I can see about buying it or another MVS from him if he happens to have any.

It's not in the best condition but I'd love to fix it up. I've never seen one of these ever. It's almost like a portable Neo-Geo... okay maybe not.

Very cool discovery! I didn't know the MVS had a "slim" model. Thumbs Up

In this case, perhaps MVS suggests: M(achine's)V(ery)S(mall)? Wink

Best of luck getting ahold of this cab, or else another of the same model!

Just to give you a better idea of how tiny this thing is here is another shot of my wife standing next to it. She is about 6' tall, and unfortunately I couldn't get her to stand right next to it because there was a cabinet right next to the MVS. The funny thing is... I thought everything in Texas was bigger??? I guess not when it comes to the MVS.

Wow! The cab is even smaller than I thought! With someone standing next to it for perspective, I'm starting to wonder if this is a sensibly, practically designed machine. Unless you're a dwarf or a child too young to appreciate or even play most MVS titles to begin with, a chair is mandatory here since you'll only be able to play sitting down if you care about your spine's health and alignment. Shrug This is certainly not an "upright" in terms of the player's operational stance.

NEO-GEO man
Would be real hard for 2 people to play that in its current location!!

Very hard for 2 people to play it.
It is such a cute machine though.
