Good thread. I completely forgot to reply to this. I use a Neo Geo CDZ but also play quite a
bit on Mame. The nice thing about using emulators is being able to play online. Sometimes it's not so easy, for me at least, to find other people interested in playing Neo Geo games with 'offline'.

I own a Neo Geo CD top loader, Neo Geo CDZ, and a 2-slot consolized MVS.
The top loader is the only one that stays hooked up, so it gets the most use. I mainly have the 2-slot to collect MVS exclusives or to purchase heavy loading games. |

I play a lot of Twinkle Star Sprites. I have a few friends that really took to the game, so it's a lot of fun to play multi-player. Other games that routinely occupy my time: Neo Turf Masters, Windjammers, Puzzle Bobble, and Magical Drop 2.
I also love Mark of the Wolves, but could never quite pick up the feel with a CD pad or a joystick on the Neo. I've always had to play it on the Dreamcast for the D-pad . |
