I was going to do this poll up today but its abit hard from the phone!!
So who plays on genuine hardware and what machine type??
I have a selection here, 2x AES consoles ( Japan BIOS untouched AES, and a UniBIOS fitted AES ) NEO-CD top loader, and a 4 slotter late model MVS that i consolised.
Mostly play the AES, very rarely play the MVS or CD. I have been contemplating selling the MVS, which is like brand new still, but i reckon it would be very hard to find another 4 slotter that new!!
I used to play on MAME and have some AES sticks i modded to work on USB, was as good as it gets without a full on genuine console, which i must say is streets ahead of any emulation without question. |

Right... That took a fair while to get prepared!!
Ive voted AES with UniBIOS, cause i used to play it that way for normal play and use the Japan BIOS console for hi score threads, but since using my mate's Euro BIOS console i have now started using the UniBIOS console so i can switch regions for the games that vary from region to region. |

Japanese AES system, but I really should install a UniBIOS at some point....
I'm still quite looking forward to the Neo Geo X though.

1 Euro AES, Uni Bios.
1 slot MV-1F, Consolized, US bios
2 Slot, Consolized, Uni Bios.
I have 1 spare JPN bios and 1 Euro Bios. I slap these in when going for HSC.

You're too kind, DT. Thanks.
I kinda wish I had the room for a cab.
Unfortunately, after seeing Priest's collection, I have inferiority issues. I just look at my collection and hang my head in shame.

Wow this got alot of attention!!
Be good if the forum would allow me to select multiple options for the poll, but i couldnt see that anywhere.
I didnt socket my BIOS when i changed over to the UniBIOS, cause i didnt see the point. Ive got a couple spare MVS BIOS chips laying around here, i think i threw the Pacific BIOS in my mate's 1st gen 4 slotter when i consolised it for him, it still needs a couple new RAM chips yet. |

Neo-Geo man: Yea I think that more people will vote as time goes. Iīve had too little time to write much lately here at NGFL.
I voted Genuine "AES console with UniBIOS", but I agree would be nice if more than one option was selectable for each member...
Life_in_2d: Donīt feel like that, your collection is great. Donīt let anyone tell you otherwise

Priest gives the whole site an inferiority issue 2D and not just with his Neo Geo collection, the arcade he has is beyond awesome.
Can't say i'm overly impressed with your suicide smiley.
I myself have two 6 slot cabs and a smaller 4 slot cab as well as several consolised MVS units.
All have the original bios chips in them.

Two of the cabs are pictured here along with another cab that has a single slot MVS in it.

Supergrafx: Thanks for the kind (I think) words
Itīs not my main purpose in life to make others feel bad about their collections. I just like to show off the things that I really like. I hope that you all understand this bit...
EDIT: Neo-Geo man: ? Iīm not quite sure I understand but...
I donīt own any Strikers 1945 + conversions, I only own one copy of the original MVS...

...Or you could give me an estimate of the cost for the game and shipping to SWEDEN...
If Paypal is your method of payment, I could ask a friend of mine since I donīt own a Paypal account.
