Found AES and Games - low serial number?
I was cleaning out an old storage unit and found and AES system, 14 AES and MVS games and a couple controllers. Upon closer examination, the AES has a serial of 000013 - which seems oddly low to me, but I do profess ignorance.

Also, the controllers and the unit have been modded with LED lights and switches in the center? I don't remember my other systems having them.

Here's a couple pictures:[/IMG]<br />

Anyone have an ideas? I think I'm just going to sell the whole lot, but want to make sure that I'm not giving away something that's rarer than I think it is.
Oops - I guess I can't put multiple pictures in one post?
Well that's certainly the lowest AES serial number I've even seen. Quite an interesting find actually.

You should find that the RGB from the system is bang-on.

I'd like to see a pic of it all lit up, if possible. I assume the controller switches are to turn the lights on and off? But the console itself has switches too? Maybe it has a Debug or UniBIOS installed?

Unfortunately I don't have a power adapter at the moment, but I'll be rectifying that shortly. Here are some inside pics of the controllers and unit.

Quick stereo hack? Or did they come this way?

These power the light on the console itself, I have to do some digging to see what that IC controls.
Make sure you use the correct voltage adaptor, some are 5v and some are 9-12v.

The wires at the logic chip are simply supplying power to something, those legs on that chip are 5v and GND. Makes no difference where they got the power from, they just chose there.

The stereo bit is normal, although that pic is way too zoomed in to the area its hard to say. Need a pic of the whole board. I dont know what that little pcb is, never seen that before.

As for it having perfect RGB, they all can, and its very easy to manipulate.

The fact they have drilled holes in the case of the console pretty much voids it of being worth anything more than any other AES console in poor or slightly damaged condition. If you can replace the top half of the shell, and the bottom half is fine, then you have something that might be worth abit extra cause of the very low serial, but you have to remove the poxy mods from it first.

The sticks arent worth much unless you know what the switch does, and unless its rapid fire and someone really wants that done in a way that really does nothing for the looks, then i doubt youll get much for them.

Not to try shooting you down here or anything, but without abit of work, all youve really got there is a console that someone has done some really ugly work to. With abit of work, you could easily make that machine worth abit more than the average amount.
