We've been discussing this idea for a while and finally the contest has begun. I hope to see as many people as possible taking part. Please post your creations in this thread. The winner and runner-up will be chosen by admins.

Wow, two prizes at a slap! Respect to your generosity, Merlin!
In the next time I sure will submit my MS Paint creation, I hope lots of other members will participate as well.
Go for it, lads, no entry is too bad for this event!
EDIT: I assume the secret 3rd prize will be a random volume of the 'Yuri & Friends' series, so now it's more than ever, guys.

I'll enter, but since there's a whole month to work on it I probably won't post an entry until the deadline draws closer. I have a few ideas...

Merlin will win this easily if he just re-enters his World Heroes artwork he did in the MSPaint thread

I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with Murikov and Reelmojo. I'm feeling confident that we'll get plenty of people taking part in the contest.

I will be entering too RiKo but I'll create a new work using the same advanced techniques I used to create my WH2 picture. I remember you created some rather striking Nam 1975 artwork. Hope to see you entering this contest too.

Oooh! This promises to be fun. Sadly I'm not much of an artist, but you count me on commenting on artworks and styles. Hope to see a fabulous picture on one of gals (King or Athena or Kasumi or such like). |

Very very awesome, Neros! The man of many talents.
Looks very "modern" in style. Your love of Neo-Geo sports titles is really evident.

Sweet idea. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. Maybe give it a shout in the NGFL Facebook group? Might generate even more art.

Good to see plenty of interest here.
Shiny I think that would be a good idea mentioning it on the Facebook group page. You should enter too!
I was thinking of putting all the entries together in a gallery in the first post.

yes great artwork Neros, i'm basically impressed if anyone can paint, let alone make such an awesome painting as that.
Someone needs to tell Suko about this if he doesnt already know...

Not a serious entry, just a doodle I did just now on me iPad while watching TV. :)
I don't think the inclusion of a red cap qualifies it as SNK art, haha.
Edit:
Okay, now he has colour and cons, it's a Fatal Fury hamster? Gerbil? I dunno.

Nice! I won't be entering, but will observe with interest.
Nintendo messaging Wii users to please buy WiiU half a year after release is like texting your ex at two in the morning 'cause you're lonely.

Hey gang,
Here is my entry into the snk art contest. I won't have time later, so I figured I'd do it now while I'm still getting over the flu.
I hope you guys and gals dig it.

I do everything at 600dpi at 11 x 17 here is a close up of the line work before coloring, if that sort of thing interests you.

Excellent work Bullet. Really impressive artwork!
I liked the 'Fatal Fury Hamster' too! I'll be interested to see what you come up with as your entry Shiny.

Haha, he's just a doodle. I've since named him Wheatley (Portal FTW).
