Hi Everybody...
Thought I better introduce myself.

I have been gaming for over 20 years and mainly prefer to play shmups and action/platform games. Although I used to play SF2 to death in the arcades.

I am now officially bored to death with virtually all next gen consoles/games... fed up of all the FPS crap that seems to be continually churned out nowadays. So my fav consoles now are the Neo, PCE, Saturn and Dreamcast.

I never owned a Neo when they first came out, was only 13 and could not afford it. Finally got one in the mid/late 90s but it got put to the back by the Saturn and Dreamcast, I have recently got back into the scene and now have an AES, CD and MVS Arcade cabinet and a 2-slot CMVS.

I have been active on for the last 6 months and have been selling NG games that a friend and I import direct from Japan (He lives there... about 20 mins from Akihabara the git.)

Thats me. Hello.
Welcome to NGFL, Rcantor77.

You seem to have great taste in games and sensible enough to refuse the hype of FPS, I like you alreadyGrin

IŽd love to see some pics of your cab and that CMVS...

Used with the kind permission from their creator "Shiny"
Thanks for the welcome priest.

I'll sort out some pics for you some time.
I have re-read my post and I must say that my arcade setup is not a genuine SNK cab, but a Silverline Jamma. So sadly I only have 3 buttons, but I have managed without the D button up until know. I have a 6-button cabinet too, that one day I will get up and running, as sadly it has no monitor.

I have an MV-1FZ board in it and along with that I have some Jamma PCBs, currently World Rally, SF2, Tiger Heli and Robocop 2.

I should also say that I am doing all the administration on, so anything that you would like to see on the site, please let me know.
Hello and welcome to NGFL i hope you hang around.Mai
Hey dude, hope you stick around. Lots of friendly Neo-Geo heads here.

shot in the eye
shot in the brain
shot in the ass...
Hello and welcome! Grin
Welcome to the site. Smile I hope you decide to stick around. Good luck with your sales.

welcome to NGFL. I think a lot of what you have said (re: modern gen games) resonates with quite a few of us old timers! Although I'll admit, if you look a little harder, beyond the usual hyped titles, there is STILL some good stuff to be found. I'm VERY particular nowadays!

PCE, NEO, DC & SAT are a solid four-some to stick to. Some would say the cream of the crop - especially for shmups, fighters and just all-round arcade goodness!

I hope to see you around more often...

Welcome! Thumbs Up

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

I have been using this site for years, mainly for the reviews.
Great work there Kaz...!

So I am glad to finally get round to joining in.

...And no flaming needed with the minor glitch with the site this week, just glad it is all back up and running.
Hi Rcantor and welcome!

I occasionally visit HardMVS and think it's the #1 place to go if any info about hardware and carts is needed, thanks for all the efforts done so far! Thumbs Up
Don't i know you from somewhere Wink, welcome to the easiest going Neo site

As much as I would love to take the credit for hardMVS, I can't.
I have only recently started helping Josh out on the site, so any changes or updates that I can do, I will... let me know your thoughts.

And... hello Chappers.Pfft
