What are you playing ?
RiKo
Sorry Sensi, that's a shame it didn't work :/

lol yes do what I did. If you can attach a block or ledge to the wall to push the TV out a bit, you may not have to take the foot off (I kept mine on, you can see it sticking out on the right)

Well, some news and hope.
Just ordered a Component-HDMI converter, including a lengthy component cable.
It's more expensive then a single cable but hopefully this will do the trick.

Tonight I used a jack-jack stereo cable, connecting it between the AES headphone connector and PC speakers. Sound testing went fine so no worries there.

If this works, it's also very handy I don't have to move anything.
The PC monitor and AES are on the opposite of a small room, so only a longer component cable is enough for the setup.

I have been playing Street Fighter III 3rd strike lately and trying to master perry

Yesterday I played some CPS2 Vampire and Powered Gear. If someone hasn't played Powered Gear and likes beat em ups, definately has to try it.

Last few days I am playing CPS2 Super Street Fighter 2 X and after that CPS3 Street Fighter III 3rd Strike. I think those 2 along with the Zero 2 Alpha are the best Street Fighters ever made.

Sensi
Cool Green. The Alpha serie are great. I like Zero/Alpha for Saturn.

I like 3rd Strike a lot but in versus mode I prefer Super SF4 or Ultra. I just think the focus system is really deep with the FADC combos etc. It also reduces fireball spamming no end. I never much like SF4 in one player mode though Shrug

One day I will play the Zero/Alpha games!

I have a Japanese friend from Osaka (home of SNK!) visiting. We played 2-player versus games on Last Blade 1 and Ghostlop. She plays a mean Kaede and kicked my ass for the first 4 games but I made a great come-back and my Akira prevailed overall. Thumbs Up

Hahaha, cool. It's always cool to meet a girl who play games.
But getting your ass kicked in a beat 'm up by a girl, is even more cooler ^_^.

So, how does your friend think about our beloved system?

2 Player sessions on Neo-Geo are great! Most of the Japanese are great players!

Last few days I have inserted on my 2 slot console Prehistoric Isle 2 and Shock Troopers.

Last Blade versus was great fun. I wish we had thought to play Shock Troopers. I've always wanted to play that 2 players Thumbs Up

Sorry Sensi missed you there. The whole time i was saying things like "What did he say then?", "What does that mean?" when we playing Last Blade. Half the time she said it was made up Japanese words though! Her fav game is Super Mario World on the SNES. She's more into the SNES in general than Neo Geo and also the usual Candy Crush style matching jewels games on her phone LOL

Since then we have played multiplayer arcade Daytona USA and Rambo (because House of the Dead wasn't accepting coins!) It's weird because England doesn't have a lot of arcades anymore but you can pretty much find Daytona and HOTD everywhere!

Cool Riko, going to the arcade. You should be thankful you have still the chance to visit such places. Here in The Netherlands they are (almost) extinct.
Daytona USA is always huge fun, especially with more players linked, but I don't know Rambo, sorry.

Could you maybe ask her if Japan has a retro gaming culture (and which systems are still popular there)? In Europe retro has really taken a flight the last ten years.

Merlin knows a lot about Japanese retro culture since he comes and go to Japan very often!

I think retro gaming is becoming more popular everyday to come worldwide.

Yesterday I played Super Street Fighter 2 X CPS2 and I was beaten seriously in single Player! I just made it to the second fighter. Then I played D&D Tower of Doom using the Dwarf. I had my ass kicked from the black Dragon in the swamp!!!

Sensi
Yeah, that black dragon is a nasty piece of work Green.
Your dwarf was too short to reach that flying moron. Sorry couldn't resist that lame joke.
But nonetheless, he's hard to hit with any character.

I've spent the Easter holidays playing with my son on the Wii U:

Pokken Tournament
Super Mario Maker
Yoshi's Wooly World
Skylanders Super Chargers
Beard Complete UK/Euro Clamshell NEO•GEO Pocket Collection Headbang
39 Color & 2 Cover Variations, 5 B&W

I managed to kill the black Dragon using the fighter while loosing only one credit!

Rambo seemed like good fun for a quick blast also you get huge guns Thumbs Up. Arcade machines are slowly disappearing here too sadly. The US and Japan seem to be the best places to find them now.

Sorry dude, she doesn't know. She's been in New York the last 2 years. Like Green Beret said Merlin is the person to ask . A while ago he had a cool video that showed the inside of a Japanese arcade he went to and they had loads of 80s arcade machines like Space Harrier and Outrun, R-Type etc. I have to go to that arcade if I ever go to Japan! I'd be in heaven.

I'm just playing Knightlore on ZX Spectrum at the moment. It's so hard!

Only one character and his vehicle left for Skylanders, which don't come out till next month..... so we've started on Lego Dimensions. Turns out it's really good fun and well worth getting.

I have been playing Crysis 3 the last few days. Except the fact that it 's a great game, it's also one of the best benchmarks to test an upgraded PC.
