Just finished God of War 100% and started with Assassin's Creed IV, which had been lying around for ages, waiting to be played.

I am still playing God of War. Awesome game and it's quite large. One of few games I don't want it to end.
On the go I have started Shantae half Genie Hero Ultimate on Switch.

Been playing Tekken 7 and KOF XIV a lot. Revisited Pulstar on the 'ol Neo Geo recently... man I suck at that game now.

Though it has spent a while tucked away in a box following our big move, I finally got around to unpacking my Sega Saturn last week. Been focused on the games I bought long ago but never got around to playing or finishing, as well as picking up two quality arcade ports for Sega’s 32-bit machine. To truly enjoy what the Saturn has to offer, an import-converter of some kind is a must.

I’m currently playing through Sega’s undersea survival-horror title Deep Fear, which is actually quite playable despite some Japanese text. The voice acting is in English and most items are easily visually identifiable. It’s actually a pretty decent Resident Evil clone that’s enjoyably atmospheric (though not particularly scary).
Also been playing the Saturn port (and minor update) of Rad Mobile, retitled Gale Racer. Compared to the arcade game, it’s lower-res and capped at 30 fps instead of 60, but Gale Racer features an awesome soundtrack and the other cars in the Saturn version are 3D models instead of 2D sprites. It’s been outdone by the likes of Sega Rally but remains a cool “super-scaler” racer and nostalgia trip.
Just got Galaxy Force 2 in the mail yesterday and it’s an extremely impressive port. Other than the 30 fps frame-rate cap it’s essentially arcade-perfect on the Saturn.
Still got lots of old school love for Sega hardware! |

Very nice to see some well deserved love and attention for the Saturn, Chiba! I have a lot of great games for the system which I still need to play. I should reserve more time for it. Next year, maybe the upcoming months, is the target to do it.
Which games do you have and which genres do you prefer Chiba?
Feel free to kick up the Saturn topic, elsewhere on the forum. |

Good to see you are playing Saturn Chiba. I've alwaya wondered if Rad Mobile on Saturn is any good. The arcade blew me away at the time in terms of gfx. Sounds like the Saturn port might be wroth a visit then
Galaxy Force 2 was one of the last games I bought for my Saturn. Yes is a really good port. I think they probably could have made it 60fps but who knows what budget and devlopment time they had to do it in (Probably not much). In recent years I mainly use my Saturn for playing Space Harrier and Outrun I love all the superscalar games . Powerdrift is a great port although again it's 30fps. (Dreamcast version is 60fps if you can find it!)

i'm mostly hooked on metal gear survive. the player base is dwindling due to the hate surrounding it, but the coop modes are really fun and very intense on the harder difficulties. |

I've been playing Gunlord (Neo Geo) recently. Since the update I genuinely prefer this to Turrican 1 on the Amiga

At the moment I'm really enjoying Candle - The Power of the Flame on the PS4, it's a really nice puzzle game.
