What are you playing ?
RiKo
As for me I am still trying to learn Juri in SSFIV. I don't play that much and i still think i am below average. I was very proud though i landed my first Ultra II after a wall bounce.

This is an old match below - just after i started playing Juri and this is what normally happens when i try it! I didnt really get punished in that vid but normally i receive huge punishment for missing it. (go to 2:40 in the vid below.)

How are you finding Ni No Kuni now Mojo? I would just buy that game just for how it looks! I doubt i would have time to play it though otherwise it would be one reason to buy a PS3.

Pokemon Yellow. Just started it up to make sure that it saves properly. I'm taking it with me when I go out of the country to have something to waste time... that is when I've got down time.

Playing the original Mono Gameboy Tetris (on 3DS). Have restarted my quest to become to reach 200 lines and become a Tetris Grandmaster. A bit rusty at the moment, but i will keep plugging away Smile

I just completed a playthrough of STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl which I hadn't played for around 3 years. It was great to rediscover this masterpiece again. The epic finale at Chernobyl NPP when you go for the 'best/true' ending is incredible and the most memorable end part of any fps I've played.

Although I've always really liked the Golden Axe games I've suddenly become quite obsessed with them. I completed the original arcade game many times during the week and also did 7 playthroughs on Kaillera last night. In the last playthrough we used a cool trick to play as the same character which also has an interesting effect on the use of magic. It was funny hitting Death Adder continuously with magic attacks! I plan on playing this, RODA and Golden Axe II (Mega Play) regularly online.

Riko, Tetris is one of the only games my sister got into as a young adult (she's dabbled in DS stuff too). I don't know what she has on her iDevices these days. A few years ago, she spent all night playing Tetris for Gameboy — which is not like her!

Merlin, great taste as usual. As you know, GA2 closely follows the style and gameplay of the original, thus, GA2 feels like a direct continuation of it. (Although the gameplay and 4P feature is great, RODA feels non-canonical to me)

Since I posted, I might as well share: Ocarina of Time (first time playing), Battle of Olympus, Battletoads & Double Dragon (Gen. ver.), Valkyrie Profile (this is taking forever to finish — is this a good or bad thing?). The sheer amount of effort and detail put into OT is amazing. However, I'm about 3/4 done and the game is starting to just drag on. I don't know if I'll finish; the game is two dungeons too long IMO. Shrug

Yes I agree Tobal GA II does feel like the true sequel of the original. I like the new style AB
attacks especially Tyris Flare's backwards jump. The music is particularly good too my favourites being the tracks for stages 1 and 3.

Hope you are enjoying the wonderful Battle of Olympus.

Good choice Bojan. DDP is awesome. I've spent quite a few hours playing the Sega Saturn port.

Dishonored on the PS3. Fantastic game...really loving it.
Street Fighter III 2nd Impact on the New Astro City...for the first time ever, I'm actually enjoying SFIII. This game is so much better than Street Fighter III Turd Strike, way better stages (no pixelated valium in this game!) and the music is better too (still not great though). Even the character designs are growing on me and best of all...no Chun-Li!!! I alway hate fighting against her.

I havent really played 2nd Impact, I liked the backgrounds better from what i saw. I did really like Third Strike overall but there is a lot which culd be better - e.g. some of the characters and yes the lame music! Since SSF4 came out i like that much better than Third Strike, the focus system is so much better than the parry system too, and easier! Pretty cool you can play it in an arcade cab too!

2nd Impact is basically the same as Turd Strike apart from the stage designs, music and the fact that Turd Strike has 5 more characters of which I only like to play with Chun-Li and she isn't a new character...the rest of the new characters in my opinion aren't really interesting. The music in 2nd Impact isn't great either, but it's good enough.

Been playing Fallout: New Vegas. My original goal was to finish it before E3 rolls around and Fallout 4 is revealed (presumably) but it looks like I'll finish it much sooner than that. I've been playing for three days and I'm 20 hours in, which means it's not only the only game I've been playing but also the only thing I've been doing. It's so addictive! I don't know yet if I like it better than Fallout 3, but so far it is at least equal to it.

Double post, but it's 11 days later so sue me.

Finished Fallout: New Vegas. The only reason why I'd say I liked 3 better is all of the glitches! I encountered glitches so bad that the story path I was trying to take would not continue, so the game ended in an entirely different way than I wanted it to. In a game so built around making choice that is unforgivable. Still, with over 50 hours put into the game I certainly can't say I didn't like it.

Instead of moving on to Fallout: New Vegas's DLC I decided to play Rage. So far it has been every bit as good as I had hoped. The openness of the game creates a great cohesiveness to the world the likes of which id games have never seen. It feels kinda like a spiritual sequel to Strife, which id didn't even develop (Strife was the last Doom Engine game, developed by Rogue). Also, what does it say about modern FPSs when the fact that it has actual boss fights is refreshing?

I hated Fallout New Vegas. But then, I didn't much like Fallout 3 either so what do I know. Smile

Still haven't played Rage to my shame. I must get on that at some point but I've a massive backlog at the minute (I also worry that my PC will melt).

Most recently, I've finished Far Cry 3, lost some 240 hours to Borderlands 2 and circle-strafed the fuck out of Serious Sam: BFE among other things.

I'm currently playing Portal (really like this), Super Street Fighter 4 (as usual, my Juri is about average now), Fast Striker (Neo Geo!), Original GB Mono Tetris (the best and hardest version) on 3DS, and Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)

I want to play Rage too, and wow thats a huge amount of time on Borderlands!, the most i have played any game ever is actually SSF4 with about 147 hours. before that it was DOA2 on Dreamcast with about 30 hours, anything after that would be 20 hours or under.

Playing VVVVVV on 3DS which i really like. I saw that it looked cool with an interesting play-mechanic but It was a lot more fun than than i was expecting to actually play. A very nice game. looking forward to playing it some more. Incidentally the 3D effect is just used for a bit of parallax scrolling. It looks nice.

Still playing SSFIV (as Juri of course), here are a couple of recent fights. I'm getting better at timing my Ultra after the wall bounce but I did miss it in the second video. (did it too early)

Also I get my ass kicked a lot too, but it's usually by a lesser margin now. I am still average but I'm always trying to improve Smile

VVVVVV is amazing! I wish it was on any console I have because I would gladly buy it again to play it on my TV, or especially on a handheld. I picked up the PC version in one of those indie bundles so paying more money for it wouldn't bother me one bit since I barely paid anything for it the first time. Also, it has one of the best video game soundtracks ever.

Finished Sleeping Dogs and felt like I needed to play something else open world so I moved on to Just Cause 2. The two games are of course very different but I'm still liking the constant anarchy/insanity of JC2.

I was playing it again yesterday, and yes the soundtrack is great, kind of like classic chiptunes, although i guess they are original. Apparently there is a C64 version in the works. (it's going home!). When i see demakes it always makes me realise that there was still scope for new ideas that were never tried even in those days.

Last night a friend told me about an SNES game called Hagane. I've been knee deep in that since. According to him it was a blockbuster exclusive release here in the states and it is pretty difficult but not in a way that makes you want to stop playing it. It's a side-scrolling beat em up type of game but with a vast array of moves and power ups that can help you out. I recommend anyone who can to check it out.
