Hi guys and gals!
Me and my two partners in an arcade got two more arcade cabs (2 JK) yesterday. And I thought it may interest someone to see how our arcade develops. The photos are taken from different angles of the locale and like MTV Cribs I show you whats in the fridge. I realise that we need more machines to earn the title arcade, but we´re getting there. Oh and there are no prices for guessing who decorated the "Bond-wall" :

Well, in my book you can call this an Arcade!
Very, very nice and good to see some older Pinball Machines in there...you still need a good DMD Pinball in my opinion though.

Chtulhu: Thanks! Sadly enough I learnt today that the owner of FLASH, also owner of LAST ACTION HERO pinball game sold both of them to an "outsider". So now the priority is to get another pinball machine, may even be a DMD even though they´re a bit more expensive.
RiKo: So you missed my post earlier about me getting an Outrun cab? The JK and CHERRY cabinets are JAMMA compatible so I guess getting a one slot MVS motherboard is bound to happe sooner or later. I think my Candy MVS machines stays in my apartement for the time being. But I have brought an AES to our arcade (didn´t take any pics of it) and some games.
I have told you before that you´re welcome to drop by when in SWEDEN, you could even stay the night in our arcade. The sofa is quite comfortable. Just think of it if you were having a hard time sleeping you could play some Outrun, pinball or other game instead
The yellow packages are a candybar named KEXCHOKLAD:

STE C: Thanks! I cleaned out some beer and a bottle of captain Morgan (i e all the Coke) before taking the pics so the fridge does look a bit empty., Since NGFL is a family site and all
With that said...Kids - look away:

AngelaAsakura: Yeah I´m happy with our arcade. I´ll probably "pester" you with some more pics as the time goes and hopefully we´ll get some more machines in there...

Why don't you get a nice Twilight Zone or Tales of the Arabian Nights??? Great games, but a bit expensive though...

Chtulhu: Yea Twilight zone looks really nice, but like you say a bit more expensive.
One of the partners who own the arcade with me Has bought a DEMOLTION MAN pinball machine, we´re going to pick it up this comming monday. Now all I have to do is to persuade him to place the DM in the arcade instead of back home as he plans to do

Very nice looking arcade priest. Would be awesome to have a place like that. Great machines and nicely decorated too with those posters. I like the look of those pinball machines it's a pity they're sold but hope you can find another pinball table soon to replace them. Strange as this may sound I've actually never played on a real pinball table only video game versions of pinball. I'll be interested to hear what additions you make to the arcade in the future. That's an impressive amount of chocolate you've got in that fridge!

Merlin: Thanks.
We have "only" sold one of the two pinball machines in the arcade, CYCLONE which is the newest of the two is still there. I think it´s just a matter of time before we get another Pinball machine to replace FLASH.
I think that you should really try a "game of pinball" if you get the chance, its really fun and complements the video games perfectly.
Yea and the chocolate is deliciuos after a bit of gaming

Ok I misunderstood Priest that's good to hear you've still got the Cyclone pinball table left. Yes you're right one of these days I really need to experience for myself what it's like to play on a real pinball table.

You really should play one for real, it's more fun and more difficult than the simulated Pinball Machines. When you play one on a computer you don't get the same experience and feel of a real Pinball Machine...the flashing lights, loud music and even the shaker motors in some (like in my TFTC...fecking huge shaker motor!!!). The biggest problem in "the wild" (Arcades and venues like that) is that those Pinball Machines tend to be in horrible shape and sometimes even unplayable...lots of nicotine residue on the Playfield, lights broken and features broken like spinners, Turbo Bumpers and stuff like that.

ah yes i only saw it after i posted in this thread - great purchase!. i still have my Saturn out just to play Outrun. thanks very much, i hope i can one day, ive never slept in an arcade before!
mmm the candy bars looks nice, so does Captain Morgan's friend! lol
i would love my own Pinball machine, i got quite a cool tabletop Ice Hockey game, where you can move the players along slots and twsit them too (for hitting the puck), thats from Sweden i think. is great fun with 2 players. hadnt laughed so much in ages when i last played it, great fun!

Sounds good Cthulhu. I'm keen to try it for myself. Your Tales From The Crypt table looks like particularly good. Hopefully one of these days I'll get the chance although it might be difficult to find pinball tables in the wild here in the UK. Maybe in an arcade in one of the seaside towns there might be a few. Until then I've always got the wonderful Fantas(t)ic Pinball on the Saturn to keep me occupied.
That tabletop hockey game looks really cool. I wouldn't mind owning one of those too.
I'll be interested to see more pics Priest when you make any additions to your arcade.
