his video however, crosses the border of "awesome" into "complete and utter fucking brilliance" by a very long way indeed. It's ridiculous and brilliant at the same time in fact... got to love all the old film references etc smiley

That Muse video is, to be honest, one of the most awesome music videos I've seen in a very very long time.

Cowboys=cool, Cowboys + Lazers=cooler, Cowboys, Lazers and Girls wearing 1970s Battlestar Galactica style pilots uniforms = fucking awesome! Grin Grin Grin

As for Muse, I kinda like them. They're very hit and miss but have a nicely pretentious prog-rock sound to them and have done some fantastic tracks. Although I wasn't too keen on their latest album, Knights of Cyclonia has grown on me. I guess that there has to be a little over-dramatic musical excess every now and then. Imo, they're definately Cornwall's second finest export. The first being pasties! mmm! Wink

I spent most of the eighties, most of my life, riding around in somebody else's car, in possession of, or ingested of, something illegal, on my way from something illegal to something illegal with many illegal things happening all around me.

This morning it was I'd Like A Virgin by Richard Cheese.

There's something so funny about lounge versions of popular songs. Though getting a bunch of children to sing the chorus to Beat It is somehow just completely wrong...

That and City by Strapping Young Lad, they really are heavy as a very heavy thing! Completely unpretentious gargoyle-reference-free heavy metal. Grin

Check Your Head by the Beastie Boys! Grin So what'cha what'cha what'cha want, I get so funny with the money that you flaunt... Cool

Reminds me of high school... Ah the 90's... Different different times, no mobile phones, no internet (for me anyway, did it exist in 1992?), listening to albums on cassette, arcades that still had GAMES in them, and staring at pics of Mutation Nation et al in CVG wondering if I'd ever be able to buy a Neo-Geo...

I have been listening to the new Norther EP 'No Way Back' for two days or so now, and I'm currently listening to it aswell! Norther made three awesome albums and some EPs and singles, but their fourth album 'Till Death Unites Us' blew. It had a few good songs, but it sucked compared to other albums. But the new EP proves that Norther can still kick ass, I love it.

I loved my 3DO for the six months I had it, I remember thinking Road Rash was amazing (probably best left as a memory). Great soundtrack though it was all Soundgarden, Therapy?, and similar bands of the time. I bought the Panasonic one on a buy now, pay in six months time thing for 500 upon release, problem was when the time was up I didn't have the money so I had to sell it to pay for it! Roll Eyes

Thats still easilly the best Road Rash game to date Wink

If for no other reason the 3DO is worth owning for "Twisted" and if people need to ask why then they have never experienced it, and if they have then will never get A grip and should stick to being a "Sheeple" gamer Wink

Wasn't that the gameshow game...? Awesome stuff! Back when the PSX was just a recurring nightmare for Nintendo Trip Hawkins was making the first proper complete multimedia machine. Ignoring the CDi 'cos it was pants frankly.

My fave game of that time: Tempest 2000 for the Jag! :head-banging neo-geo.com style smiley thing:
