My tea wasn't all that exciting, but for desert I'm having Tesco Zesty Lemon Cheesecake with some fresh raspberries.

I like this thread. Always good to see it being revived. More people should post their meals!

Priest that white plastic thing prevents the top part of the box from touching the pizza.

I agree with you guys about 'Falling Down'. A great film and that scene is one of the most memorable.

When i was young my dad cooked a pizza for my brother and I and left the polysterene base on it. he actually served us up the slices with the polysterene still attached!

hope it goes well Kaz Thumbs Up, you are a better cook than me, i normally have those in ready-meal form. always much nicer when you do it yourself. btw post that pic of your burger - that was a meal in itself.

It wasn't a burger, it was just full of bacon. It was awesome, I just won't be making a habit of eating these! Smile

Food is much better when freshly cooked... you should give it a go RiKo, cooking isn't too hard really, it's surprisingly easy! Smile

Bacon rules !
I spent most of the eighties, most of my life, riding around in somebody else's car, in possession of, or ingested of, something illegal, on my way from something illegal to something illegal with many illegal things happening all around me.

Here's the curry I made last night:

img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/Kazuya_UK/curry.jpg

Chick Tikka Masala
Spicy chickpea rice
Side order of onion bhajis and samosas
Naan breads

Didn't make the naan breads and bhajis/samosas, although I want to try my hand at that sometime! However the curry and rice is all home made.

Was very good, unfortunately may produce a "Johnny Cash moment" at some point today... Shock (wonder how many of you will get that reference? Grin)

Indian food always rocks the dining table, Kaz! Especially Curry in general and Samosas are part of my favorite Oriental dishes.

I wish I'd be eating from one of your plates and not from mine at the moment. Wink

Without being too disgusting... if you eat a rather hot curry, think of Johnny Cash's most famous song the following day...

".. and it burns burns burns... the ring of fire" LOL

Murikov: Yea I love Indian food... there's a large Indian population in my hometown, so you are spolit for choice for restaurants! Plus I got advice from some of my Indian friends on cooking stuff so I'd say my stuff is not too shabby Smile. Even if chicken tikka masala is, strictly speaking, not actually an Indian dish! Can do a few other dishes too... currently I'm using what was leftover from that curry to make a biryani... it's in the oven right now, let's see how this turns out!!!

".. and it burns burns burns... the ring of fire" LOL

hahaha ok i get you now. i thought it was going to be about the runs lol.

sounds like you are becoming an expert cook Kaz Thumbs Up you got to try and make one of those Japanese breads! first attempts are always bad, but you learn a lot from them i guess.

i have an Indian sister (not my blood sister) who brings me Indian food. The food is nowhere near as hot as most British people have it. They think British people are crazy! haha. It's a lot subtler and milder in general. there are still some hot dishes though. I have an Indian rice pudding in the fridge at the moment, i have no idea how it is different to English rice pudding but i'm expecting it to be *very* sweet from past experience.

You have to excuse the fact that i have the worst mobile phone camera ever but here's a 'brunch' burger i got from a local pub. It was about £6 and came with a free drink, onion rings and chips. The burger also has lots of freshly cooked bacon , a fried egg and cheese in it.

i468.photobucket.com/albums/rr45/RimShot69/Photo-0076b.jpg

so at least £3.50 cheaper than my Burger King Meal a lot larger and so much nicer too Thumbs Up
