NOTE: This was a previous game of the week thread!
SNK Vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium:

^ Click for full version
Genre: Platformer
Meg Count: 32 MB
Players: 1 or 2 player (via link cable)
Released on: Neo Geo Pocket Color
Brief Description:
SNK Vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium was SNK's first stab at the Capcom crossover thing, and to date it is still probably the most successful overall in terms of the overall package. It may look and sound a bit dated now but the great gameplay, excellent character roster and mini games make it one of the best handheld fighters you will find on any system!

Best crossover of all time is not something I would say is taking it too far... it really is still a brilliant game. Have dug out the NGPC and some fresh batteries so I can give it a blast tonight!

Well I never. Making this fighter Gotw so soon. Its a halloween special this week. I've seen many of Capcom's crossovers Marvel vs. Capcom, X-men vs. Street Fighter and such like. Too bad that's the one and only SNK crossover game available. Oohhh! Yes I like that one. |

In a world where Last Blade didn't exist I'd probably agree.
I do agree, however, that it's the best SNK/Capcom crossover.

I like Terry, Ryo and Akari
All the characters are balanced well enough that I don't really care...well Haohmaru isn't that good (in this game) but that's about it.

I can never be bothered to play on handheld games consoles these days - but the game does look very neat. I like the way they called Tournament mode - 'Tourney' to save space.

Mini-Reviews of films I have just watched : http://richwatmov...press.com/
"There's a guy on Geometry Wars. I can't remember his Gamertag, but his score is far above anyone else in the world, and it makes me think this person doesn't have a life, doesn't work, and is completely and sickly addicted to this one game."

This game is pretty damned good I used to have it until my NGPC got stolen. This was by far my favorite NGPC game, so damned good, so damned fun. The thing I really liked about the game is that each character had his/her own cut scenes and dialogue. The contorls were awesome, the music awesome and I liked the roster. Everybody knows this game is awesome, and if you don't go play it NOW.

Both great games, and both wonderful examples of handheld fighters done right. A rare thing outside of the NGP/NGPC.

D-Pad ( GB ) vs. Joystick (NGPC)
Joystick ftw.
SNK/P must have a hell of a patent or something...I can't believe no one else has attempted it. I guess Sony tried it (sort of) on the PSP, but IMHO that didn't work too well.
