I have another camera that might have sound but Im not sure ? There is some very cool terrain around here that should be fun to film on. Lots of hiking Trails and a few places I might be able to ford the river Smile

I spent most of the eighties, most of my life, riding around in somebody else's car, in possession of, or ingested of, something illegal, on my way from something illegal to something illegal with many illegal things happening all around me.

Yeah, Facebook does suck for the most part. Most of my time on there back when I had an account was spent being invited to join weird groups.

I will see if I can put the vids on my Dropbox account then post the URL here.

About the only time I really look at Facebook is when I'm trying to reach Kaz Smile

LOL Seems like he practically lives on it Smile

Maybe Two other people as well, otherwise I think its pretty lame much like My Space was and still is.

This is how an average arcade could look like in the 80īs. Looks like "all" ages could enjoy themselves. Ahhhh, good to take a trip down memory-lane ainīt it. And for you guys that didnīt experience this era, look closely - This is arcade "culture"Smile

Those pictures are pretty hilarious to look at, everyone trying to look cool Shock

Its weird that I will be 40 next month but only a few years ago the 80's seemed like they just happened. Some time around 2005 it really sunk in just how long it really has been.

Good find Priest !

Man I used to do stupid crap back around 83/84 like put 6 hour tapes in the VCR and just let em record whatever came on. Now I wish I still had them just to see all the weird commercials we will never remember. It all looks so bizarre now days.

Wow, wish I could move into that house solely because of the awesome view surrounding it.

Zombie Proof or not that place is awesome Smile

Any idea where is it at Priest ?

I'm a sucker for the whole "Modern" Architecture thing and a big fan of finished Concrete and terrazzo floors as well.

WAS PLAYING...
Art of Fighting on the SNES just the other day and noticed an odd thing.

Whilst what appeared to be a re-use of animation for one of Ryo/Karate's kicks, an odd thing occurred (one being Kick and one being the Hard Kick variant)...

i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv359/NeoGeoNinja/IMG00042.jpg
i699.photobucket.com/albums/vv359/NeoGeoNinja/IMG00043.jpg

Yeah, one was higher than the other, but not with any decent notable reason. Surely the animation frame should be identical regardless (i.e. like Ryu & Kens LK & MK were in earlier SF2 titles - up until SSF2Turbo infact).

I know it's just me being my usual anal self, but I found this a bit odd, as though one leg (standing leg) is effectively 'shortened' for the attack variant as opposed to lowering the angle of the kick! Even the upper body is in a slightly different position.

Ninja you are really starting to worry me Hmm only a man with your observation skills could notice that. Still max kudos for pointing it out I suppose it is a little odd, wonder if the NG version does it, I could check for you but as you know I have a lot on my plate Shock

ACCIDENTALLY STUMBLED...
over and melted my face to the BONE in a pan of BOILING milk!

Of course, I'm just kidding. Don't fret. What I did stumble upon though was, quite easily, the coolest calculator EVAR!

www.slipperybrick.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/x-cool_calculator-thumb-450x361.jpg

DUG A LITTLE DEEPER...
and traced it back to it's host site and found a pretty cool series of pages constantly dedicated to all sorts of crazy controllers that have made their appearances here and there... umm... maybe not here, but maybe there? Hmm Shrug

Check it out!
http://www.slippe...ontroller/

Seems those creative juices ARE endless after all... just not as much in the actual game industry itself Pfft
